The full semestrial fee is 60 euros
Early Bird offer: if registered and paid before 12th April, the semestrial fee is just 50 euros!
Alternatively, one can also take individual classes at the rate of 10 Euros per class.
The first class of the semester is not free to try but will cost 10 Euros (which will be deducted from the semestrial fee in the event that a new dancer decides to sign up for a full semester).
Description of Levels:
Beginner : this is a class for total beginners who have never danced Lindy Hop or for those who would like to work on their basics.
Beginner/Intermediate : to attend this level you should be in control over the eight-count steps you have already learned and have the ability to lead or follow a few simple figures. In this class we will concentrate on consolidating and building upon the basic steps, improving dancing technique and adding interesting variations to the main figures that you already know.
Intermediate: to attend this class you should have a solid grasp of the standard Lindy steps such as Swing Out, Lindy Circle, Tuck Turn, Texas Tommy, Lindy Charleston, etc. and have some understanding of the role played by tension and compression in swing dancing. You dance on a regular basis: you usually attend social dancing and have maybe already been to one or two workshops abroad. You are in control over both eight count and six count steps. You are able to mix the two different basic steps without a problem and are able to lead or follow them both without difficulty.
If space and leader follower/ratio allow it, we also encourage people to do all classes up to their level at no futher cost. (for instance a beginner/intermediate to participate in the total beginner class, or an intermediate to do the previous classes as well). It just means more dancing and more practice, which always can help to improve dancing skills. Please talk to us to before doing multiple classes, so that we can advise you if this is possible. Usually from past experiences this mainly applies to leaders (also followers willing to lead in beginner classes), though this could of course be different in future.
To register, please send us an e-mail to swinglux@gmail.com indicating the level you would like to attend: we will come back to you with all the details. If you have any questions, please send us an e-mail to the same address; also feel free to speak to us before or after classes if you have any queries, for instance if you would like some advice regarding the level of classes that you might like to attend.
